Suggest a good description of travel itinerary from 2 days to Bangkok? ?

Hello, I am traveling in Thailand in mid-October for 2 days. then to Aussie for a week. I have a budget of $ 300 for 2 days in Bangkok. Please help planning visits to Bangkok, places to visit, also suggest a good hotel and dining, transportation, etc. I hope the political situation will improve in a few months a. but if the points hot to avoid?

The best way (but not the least expensive) transportation I think the Bangkok sky train so you can avoid traffic jams and congestion. You can always take the tuk-tuk "which are like motor motor rickshaws, but drivers tend to rob the tourists to places offering expensive to eat or places of tourist interest and profit and commissions in exchange for such places. Taxis are also very affordable, and always make sure you turn on meter so that wouldnt be fooled. If you are buying affordable street and cool that you can visit the weekend market Chatuchak, open Saturday and Sunday 8-6. The nearest BTS (Bangkok Railway Station) station Mo Chit is doing. There are a variety of food, clothing for any kind of fashion statement and activity. I'm on my way there's the end of October (for the 5th time since 2007) and are concerned about the situation. However, I am sure you have the answers and suggestions. Hopefully it should be good as long as we are not around these parts, are the demonstrators. These are not tourists visiting areas should be fine.
