Holidays in Thailand

My friend is traveling to Australia, what should I give a gift?

My friend is going with your partner to travel in Thailand, Australia, etc, at the end the year … We're really struggling for ideas on what it takes to make a parting gift, taking into account would require something that is well reflected, or perhaps something I can use? We were going to put money on the map, but it seems so inpersonal. Any ideas?

A hat! , Seems a bit silly, but it will wear much and think of you every time you put in the hot sun! Add something like a Lonely Planet guide for the country you are writing a message on the front! Another thing I liked I went to the foreigner was the gift of a calling card so I could call friends and family of origin to give them news about my latest adventure.
