Cairns to Bangkok? the airline should fly? How are you?

I find a local travel agency and purchase the package, with Hotels in Thailand or should I buy a ticket and check the hotels myself? What do you think is better in terms of pricing? If you did that too and really help me, tks for sharing. Cheers
